SetUp ConSense Client

To add ConSense in amberSearch the following steps are sufficient:

  1. Share the base URL of the system with amberSearch

    • If ConSense is running on an OnPremises environment, then make sure that amberSearch tenant can network-wise reach the ConSense Server. Contact IT Support Team of amberSearch in case of troubles

  2. The ConSense Connector calls Web REST API endpoints from ConSense. Make sure that the REST API service is enabled in your ConSense tenant

  3. Set up a service account with read rights for amberSearch

    • Grant the service account access to the documents areas that are relevant for search

    • Only documents that are accessible to the service account can be indexed and made searchable through amberSearch

  4. Share the credentials with amberSearch
