Set Up Confluence Data Center

Important prerequisite: This manual in Contrast to the Confluence Cloud Set Up does NOT need the manual from here Set Up the Atlassian Application to be completed

In order to index the contents of Confluence:

1. Create new user in Confluence User Directory
2. Create personal access token for this user
3. Grant administrative rights to the relevant spaces to this user (This is needed for reading the space permissions)
4. Grant Read permissions to the user for all relevant Confluence spaces

The following information needs to be noted and provided to amberSearch:

• Credentials of the user
• Personal Access Token of the user
• URL of Confluence
